Everyone deserves an opportunity to live a full life doing work they love, with people they love, in a healthy thriving environment regardless of their past. Those that have overcome substance use disorders and mental health, trauma and incarceration are NO exception. The owners know first hand, both Chris and Racquel are in long-term recovery. Racquel 13 years and Chris 5 years. HardBeauty Mechanical supports those in recovery because it's the story of the owner and operator. Becoming servant leaders in their communities is how they continue to recover.
Mentorship and Coaching
Our employees receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship throughout their time with us. They are given TLC, which is time off to attend recovery meetings, therapy, mental health days, probation, family care needs, doctors, etc.

I have been in the HVAC industry for over 25 years. I began my career at 20 years old in residential new construction, then I moved to residential/commercial service and installation, and the last 13 years of my career have been in the commercial kitchen installation and repair space. I take pride in my work and have much to offer new people coming into this field. I have also experienced a lack of skilled tradesman in the HVAC/R field, businesses need help and I want to fill that gap.

I was born in Colorado and raised in Tennessee until I moved back to what I now call home here in Denver back in 2008. I have primarily worked in business development and project/product management for the past 20 years and have been in the nonprofit space for about 4. I am a person of lived experience. I had it all and lost it to my addictions and by the grace of God, I have been given another chance to rebuild and help others by utilizing my past experiences and strengths. HardBeauty Mechanical has been an opportunity for me to not only help others but also help myself grow and change into a better and stronger person. To unwind and enjoy life I go to the theater, hiking, camping, snowboarding, walking/playing with my dog Luna, or just pretty much anything in the outdoors that this amazing state has to offer.
